The museum-quality Aquarelle train (English: Watercolor train) is running its regular route on the Arbatsko-Porkovskaya line within the Moscow metropolitan system. Its vibrant floral watercolour pattern makes the train look like a painting brought to life when it speeds. Inside the train, each row of seats is facing reproductions of world-known paintings held in fancy frames. The Aquarelle Train has been running its route since 2007, Moscow’s “Year of the Child.” The goal is to remind adults of the child-like sense of discovery that art brings. This exhibition photograph was a part of the series of artist's personal photo exhibitions on contemporary Moscow in some European cities — in city galleries as well as Russian Centers for Culture and Science (Gdansk, Warsaw, Vienna, Luxembourg, Passau). A photograph of Moscow.
