A legendary tram 2 in Budapest. The line was established shortly after the Second World War had ended. According to National Geographic magazine, this tram line is among the world's Top 10 trolley rides and the most scenic tram journey of Europe, besting Lisbon and Amsterdam tram lines. This line rides parallel with the Danube, on the embankment of the Pest side. It provides stunning views of Buda and Buda Castle on the other side of the Danube. On the Pest side, passengers are treated to views of the baroque neo-gothic Parliament building up close, along with several UNESCO World Heritage Sites and the Chain Bridge.
