"The walls are the skin of the tenants", — believes the group of artists and urban designers "CitéCréation" from the French city of Lyon. In 2013, commissioned by the residential building cooperative Solidarität eG, they painted a gigantic, 22 000 m2, artwork on a panel apartment building of GDR architectural heritage in Berlin-Friedrichsfelde in the eastern Berlin district of Lichtenberg. The tenants told journalists they do feel really more positive since their grey house turned colourful and artistic.
