MOSKAU Designer Cushion Cover
Designer cushion cover "MOSKAU" from the BERLIN Collection, handcrafted.
A removable cushion cover with a blind zipper.
We recommend that you purchase a premium fiberfill cushion insert or reuse a worn-out no zip cushion to reduce landfill waste.
CAFÉ MOSKAU on Karl-Marx-Allee in Berlin was one of the seven national restaurants in the capital of the GDR. It was planned by the architects Josef Kaiser and Horst Bauer and opened in 1964. A copy of Sputnik was erected before the opening in its original size - a present from the then Ambassador of the USSR. The name of Russia's capital on the roof - in German and Russian - was created by the graphic designer Klaus Wittkugel. The “MOSKAU" was acquired in 2007 for several million euros and then restored with respect to history by the American billionaire Nicolas Berggruen, a son of an honorary citizen of Berlin and in the meanwhile one of the largest private property owners in Germany. The legendary Café "MOSKAU" has become a multifunctional centre for small, exclusive events, shows and parties. Photography of Berlin.
