Kurfürstendamm (Ku’damm for short) is the famous West Berlin boulevard for walks, shopping and entertainment, built upon the prototype of the Champs-Elysees. Before the First World War, it used to be the street of millionaires, afterwards – the synonym for the “Golden Twenties” of Germany, during the Berlin Wall — the heart of West Berlin, and today after the reunification – the street of exclusive boutiques and a prestigious residential and business address. The photograph was exhibited during 13 photographic exhibitions "Berlin — the City of Change" within the framework of the Year of Germany in Russia. Documentary photography of Berlin.
